Journey to Excellence was handed in at Silver level and we are reminded to use it as a planning document, with an emphasis on Training and Youth Protection.
Pastor Rice will need to have COR (Charter Organization Rep) training as he is our liason to the church. We discussed he should also be included in our emails.
We need to find a Training Leader to help with upcoming Adult trainings and registrations. Still need a volunteer for this position.
Advancement
Note the change in the following dates:

March 25th – will be the quarterly Court of Honor at 7 PM for Scouts and Families
Merit badge procedures were reviewed with new Scout parents.
The boys need to attend a Muncy Borough meeting on March 17th as part of their Citizenship in the Community badge.
Equipment
We will need to purchase cylinders of propane and have our gas stoves serviced. Jen will be calling Lyons in Montoursville to see if they can do it.
May campout was briefly discussed, possibly in Pennsdale so the boys can finish their fishing merit badge.
Service and Good Turn
Discussed 4x/year roadside cleanup with dates possibly in April, June, August and October.
Scouting for Food is coming up, with dates possibly April 5th and 12th (need to confirm dates).
Scoutmaster
Discussed the boys either attending a borough meeting or a zoning meeting. Decided on the March 17th Muncy boro meeting at 7PM. Shannon was going to call and let them know the Boy Scouts would be coming.
Don Feaster will arrange the tour permit and permission slips for trip to James V. Brown Library. Tammy has a contact with the Chess Club that meets there. One of their members is also a merit badge counselor for Chess. This will take the place of our meeting Tuesday, March 4th. We will be meeting at 4:30 at the Church parking lot and drive to Williamsport, attending the Chess Club meeting from 5-8 PM so the boys can work on their merit badge. We plan on returning to the Church at 8:30.
The boys will be attending Camp K the week of July 6-12. 4 new scouts will also be going and two more adults. We have paid for 8 scouts.
